viewHey world! I just wanted to do a quick check in with a Yetti Says inspired ‘currently’ post. I’ve moved! For those who have been following my blog for a while, you would know that I recently graduated from college in Texas and was anticipating relocating to Seattle because of my job. Move in day one started at 2:45am yesterday in Austin, waking up and doing some last minute packing, heading to the airport and then catching a 5am flight to Seattle. As soon as I landed, it was nonstop errands, from getting a rental car (because my car was shipped and is en route) to signing my lease, then jetting to Renton (south of Seattle) to pick things up at Ikea and Walmart. By the time I got back to my apartment the only thing I could do was crash.

But, I’m loving this experience. Drivers in Seattle are so rude compared to that southern hospitality and the roads are annoyingly confusing, but I’m so glad I chose to live in the downtown area. Like… there’s a restaurant beneath my apartment with $3 happy hour (#bless) and many restaurants in walking distance. Also, one of my biggest concerns was that my apartment would be too small, but it’s honestly the perfect size for me. And these amenities are everything. There’s a whole bike shop, a woodworking room, and other random perks that I wouldn’t have even thought I needed an apartment to have. I’ve been filming a vlog, so you’ll be able to see all that soon, in the meantime I’ve been giving glimpses of my space on Twitter (particularly here and here).

chairsAbove are the seats I mentioned in my last blog post, I love them! Now, I’m off to assemble more furniture and run some more errands. Catch y’all at my next update!
